The rapid advancement of information and big data services has been a catalyst for innovation in every aspect of our society, such as healthcare, education, and economic development. For example, IBM's Analytics for Twitter service provides businesses with access to data and analytics on Twitter 500 million tweets per day and enables business decision making based on social media intelligence. IS researchers are facing unprecedented opportunities to transform business processes to tackle many social and economic problems. The purpose of this workshop is to provide a forum to discuss new research directions in the area of big data analytics and E-commerce. For example, this workshop aims to extend the boundaries of research in business process management by integrating recent advances in big data analytics that have not been sufficiently emphasized in the past.

Given the nature and purposes of this workshop, we invite papers of no more than five pages that are well articulated and formatted in single line spacing, Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1 inch margins. We particularly seek position papers with a strong theoretical flavor, as well as research-in-progress papers.

l Technology and architecture issues in process driven organizations

l Workflows in collaborative operations and systems
